The task was to design a motion graphic for a hypothetical museum exhibition. I decided to design an exhibition based on Quim Marin’s poster designs.
I researched Marin, collected his work, and assets to use within the motion graphic. This is a celebration of everything Quim so showing his work is essential in this design. I storyboarded ways of animating his posters together, swapping in his copy with copy of my own. After this brainstorm, I created each poster and animated them together. I adjusted the graphic based on reviewing the work with students and my professor.
Most of my efforts went into unblemished animation. This is less so a difficult barrier and more so time consuming.
I had learned plenty about After Effects and motion graphics over the years. I organized all the necessities of motion on paper and ensured each were present in this design.
